Official Clark County, Ohio docket and court-record questions belong with the clerk or court that owns the case. The correct route depends on whether the matter is in Common Pleas, Municipal, Probate, or Juvenile Court. This private reference resource cannot act for a court, but the routing below identifies the office that can address an official record, a hearing date, or a certified-copy request.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference resource cannot retrieve official dockets, change a court date, seal or alter a case, issue certified copies, or provide legal advice. Those requests must go to the clerk or court that maintains the matter.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the court that has jurisdiction over the case. The most common Clark County record requests route as follows:

  • Common Pleas docket entries: use the court-specific public eServices route, then contact the Clark County Clerk of Courts for a CAPTCHA issue, a recent filing, an older record, or a restricted matter
  • A Municipal Court date or case: use the countywide Municipal Court search or daily schedule, then confirm the setting with the Municipal Court clerk
  • Certified Common Pleas copies: request them from the Clark County Clerk of Courts, which maintains the official Common Pleas record
  • Probate records: use the separate Probate Record Search or contact Probate Court, where the judge also serves as clerk
  • Juvenile matters: use the separate Juvenile Court route because youth records have important confidentiality limits
